Contemporary Sauna with Glass Fascia
The brief was to create a light modern cabin with clean low iron glazing to the main fascia. The space allocated was wide but shallow and the challenge was to achieve a cabin which appeared spacious and comfortable for the two occupants to enjoy together. We chose a free standing, multi- climate heater around which carefully designed bespoke benching was constructed in smooth blond Aspen to match the deep horizontal wall boards.
The bathing experience was further enhanced with the use of colour changing fibre optic lighting creating different moods in conjunction with various essences mixed with the steam function. The result - a true luxury one off sauna, bright and airy but contained in compact overall space. Beautiful wall wash lighting was used to allow the client to alter the ambience within the cabin using a fully controlled colour light therapy system.
The latest Fonda Duo heater was chosen to provide multi-climate sauna, with a free standing option to blend neatly with the glazed fascia.
Aspen finish Pale, soft Aspen wood was used throughout the cabin to create a uniform and streamlined look which fit in perfectly with the modern surrounding bathroom suite. Full length panelling achieves a seamless finish.
Enclosed bulkhead The continuation of Aspen wood from a bulkhead provides a clean, built-in appearance in keeping with the contemporary room design.
